Bruce Wilson

Bruce Wilson, Chief CRNA:

Bruce has 26 years experience as a CRNA. He has been in Ellis County since 1997, when he retired from the USAF after 21 years of service. He has provided the full range of hospital-based anesthesia services for Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of Waxahachie since his move to Texas. He is a founding member of our practice. While in the military he also served as Chief CRNA, and was a clinical instructor for the USAF Nurse Anesthestist’s Residency Program. He and his wife, Emma, live in Waxahachie; they both love to travel internationally.

Julio Gaona

Julio Gaona, CRNA:

Julio has lived in the DFW metroplex for his entire life, except during his CRNA training at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He has worked at Level I and Level II trauma centers in the DFW area for the past seven years. Julio left a position in Ft. Worth to come to work at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center of Waxahachie in 2006. He is single, lives in nearby Mansfield, and is a well-recognized gardener in his neighborhood.

Carol Green

Carol Green, CRNA:

Carol earned her initial nursing diploma in 1971, going on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1989. In 1992, she entered the University of Texas Health Science Center/United States Air Force School of Anesthesia at San Antonio and graduated with a Master’s degree. She has practiced nurse anesthesia for 18 years in a variety of clinical settings. She joined Waxahachie Anesthesia after relocating from the Houston area. She and her husband, Craig, reside in Midlothian. Carol is an avid reader and loves to travel. She is also very proud of her four grandchildren.

Layne Eddy

Layne Eddy, CRNA:

Layne’s undergraduate degree is from Texas A&M, and he earned his Masters degree in nursing at Texas Wesleyan University in 2001. He has more than 15 years of anesthesia experience working at major hospitals and surgery centers in North Texas. Layne lives in Mansfield with his three children, where he plays golf and hunts for relaxation. 

Danny Hammonds

Danny Hammonds, CRNA:

Danny earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2009. In 2011, he entered Arkansas State University's nurse anesthesia program and graduated with a Master’s degree. Originally from the Dallas/Fort Worth area, after completing his Master's degree in Arkansas, Danny moved back home to the metroplex to join the Waxahachie Anesthesia group. He and his wife, Anna, have three boys and reside in Midlothian. They enjoy spending time with their family and being active in their church.

Rene Belle Martinez

Rene Belle Martinez, CRNA:

Rene Belle Martinez received her Associates degree in Nursing in 1997. She got her Bachelors degree in Arts and Science at University of Texas in Arlington in 2005, after being a Critical care RN for 8 years. She went on to Ft. Worth and graduated with a Masters degree in Anesthesia from Texas Wesleyan University in 2007. She practiced at a Level II trauma center in Dallas for 5 years. She also worked at a Dallas area surgery center. Belle lives in Grand Prairie, married to Santos, and has two daughters. She loves spending time with her family, especially traveling and exploring different cultures. Belle joined Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie Anesthesia Consultants group in October 2013.

Chris Carter

Chris Carter, CRNA:

Chris received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Dallas Baptist University in 2000. He got his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University in 2007. Next, he earned is Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia from Texas Wesleyan University in 2013. Chris gained valuable experience at a Level I Trauma Center in Fort Worth prior to joining Waxahachie Anesthesia in March 2015. Chris resides in Waxahachie with his wife, Carrie, and their six kids. In his free time he enjoys golf, hunting, fishing, and many other outdoor activities.

Mary Beth Wainscott

Mary Beth Wainscott, CRNA:

Mary Beth was delighted to join Waxahachie Anesthesia Consultant Services in late 2014. Previously, she worked as a CRNA at a large teaching institution in Dallas for 3 years. During this time, she fulfilled her passion of supporting students by serving as clinical coordinator for TCU CRNA students. Mary Beth received both a Doctorate and Masters from the School of Nurse Anesthesia at Texas Christian University (TCU) in 2011. Before enrolling at TCU, she worked as a nurse in a major Dallas ICU. She earned both a Bachelors in Spanish and a Bachelors in Nursing from Texas Tech University / Texas Tech Health Sciences Center in 2008. Mary Beth lives in Waxahachie with her husband and two daughters. Her hobbies include running, going to the movies and being active in her church.

Danielle Wilderman

Danielle Wilderman, CRNA:

Danielle Wilderman received her Associate's Degree in Nursing in 1999. Her nursing career consisted of Level 1 Trauma Emergency, Critical Care Flight Nurse, and Level 1 Trauma Intensive Care Unit. She earned her Bachelors degree in Nursing at Arizona State University in 2005. She graduated with a Masters degree in Nurse Anesthesia from Midwestern University in 2014. She practiced at a Level I trauma center in Temple, Texas for 1.5 years. Danielle is married to her husband Mark and has 3 children. She loves spending time with her family and friends, traveling to new places and enjoying life to its fullest. Danielle joined Baylor Scott & White Waxahachie Anesthesia Consultants group in May 2016.
